Jul 24, 2013 Now TV, Sky's app for pay-as-you-go Sky Sports and on-demand Sky Movies is making its way on to LG Smart TVs in an exclusive deal between LG and Sky.The Now TV app has until now not been available directly on Smart TVs - confined to laptops/computers, PS3, Xbox 360, Roku streamers, YouView boxes, and Apple and Android devices - but LG has now snaffled the TV exclusive for 12 months. Plus, you can subscribe to current TV seasons, with new episodes available the day after they air right on your new LG Smart TV. LG Super UHD and OLED TVs support both HDR10 and Dolby Vision™, which means you see movies exactly the way filmmakers intended, while getting the playability of current and upcoming HDR streaming content 2. Along with some additional information on the app, an “Install” button will be visible and selecting this will immediately download the app to the LG smart TV. How to get the Apple TV app
- On your compatible smart TV, streaming device or game console, go to your device's app store and download the Apple TV app.
- Open the Apple TV app and choose Start Watching.
- Go to Settings, then select Accounts.
- Choose Sign In. If you don't have an Apple ID, you will need to create one. Then, use one of these options to sign in with your Apple ID and complete setup:
- Sign In On Mobile Device: Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code on the TV screen. Then follow the instructions on your mobile device.
- Sign In On This TV: Use your TV remote to manually sign in with your Apple ID and complete setup.

Sign out of the Apple TV app on a smart TV, streaming device or game console
- Open the Apple TV app.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Accounts, then choose Sign Out.
Reset the Apple TV app to its original settings
This will sign you out of your account on that device and remove your personal information. If you're also signed in to the Apple Music app on your smart TV or streaming device, the Apple Music app will also be reset to its original settings and all of your personal information will be removed. Sky Go and HDMI cables aren’t the easiest things to use together for various reasons. Here’s a workaround to make things a bit simpler for anyone wishing to watch Sky Go.
Sky Go is a great way to enjoy Sky channels on your TV, laptop, iPhone, iPad, Android tablet or phone.
Unfortunately, the service doesn’t allow you to use an HDMI cable directly, but there are ways to work around this issue.

How to watch Sky Go on your phone

Why won’t my HDMI cable work with Sky Go?
Sky TV hasn’t cited in an official statement why an HDMI cable won’t work when trying to watch Sky Go on your TV.
The reason for HDMI and Sky Go being incompatible is most likely a way of protecting the Sky Go content. Sky may be concerned with what customers could do with the Sky Go content. For all they know, customers could be sharing content with other people who aren’t paying customers by recording shows.
We understand this can be frustrating when you pay for the service and then you can’t use it the way you want to. Many Sky Go customers wish to watch the service on a bigger screen and an HDMI cable enables just that.
